I wanted an ‘All of the Above’ box to tick.
I abhor the cruelty of capturing, killing or imprisoning wild animals for human entertainment – it is especially sickening when these intelligent, highly social wild dolphins are the target.
I grieve for the breaking down of the intricate ecosystem balances which these (and all) animals are a part of.
Dolphin hunting surely is unnecessary and I hope the people of the Taiji waters and all of Japan can stop this outdated practice and find less exploitative ways to ‘make money’.
